TERMS & CONDITIONS – Sobe Ravnik

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions define the rights and obligations of the accommodation provider Sobe Ravnik (Mina Ravnik s.p., Bohinjska Bela 64, 4263 Bohinjska Bela, Slovenia) and guests who book accommodation or other services via our website, e‑mail, or phone. They apply to all bookings and services provided.

• By booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.
• These Terms & Conditions form an integral part of the contract between the guest and the provider.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• A booking is considered confirmed only after receiving a 50% advance payment of the total price.
• Guests must provide full name, e‑mail address, and contact phone number, which will be used to send confirmations and information.
• Bookings can be made via website form, e‑mail, or phone.
• The provider reserves the right to refuse a booking if the booking conditions are not met.

3. Payment and Cancellation Policy

• Advance payment: 50% of the total price is required to confirm the booking.
• Cancellations:
  • Up to 14 days before arrival: 100% refund of the advance payment
  • 14–7 days before arrival: 50% refund of the advance payment
  • Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: advance payment is non-refundable
• Cancellations must be sent in writing to e‑mail: family.ravnik@gmail.com.
• Force majeure / urgent health cases:
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances (illness, accidents, or other force majeure events), guests may request special consideration.
  • Written requests with supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate) must be provided.
  • The provider reserves the right to assess each case individually and decide on a refund or a credit for future stays.
• The provider may cancel the booking if the advance payment is not received on time, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in with a valid ID (identity card or passport).
• Check-in and check-out times are specified in the booking confirmation or on the website.
• Late check-in or early check-out may be possible by arrangement, depending on availability.

5. House Rules

• Guests must respect peace, order, and other guests.
• Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of keys.
• Pets are allowed only by prior arrangement.
• Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
• The provider reserves the right to terminate the stay if the guest violates house rules or endangers others.

6. Children and Extra Beds

• Children and extra beds can be arranged upon agreement and additional payment, as indicated in the price list.
• Age requirements for free or discounted stays are listed in the price list.
• Guests are responsible for the safety of children in rooms and on the property.

7. Tourist Tax

• Tourist tax is not included in the room price, unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is made upon arrival or included in the invoice.
• The amount of tourist tax complies with local regulations.

8. Privacy & Electronic Communication (GDPR)

• Guests consent to the use of their e-mail for reservation confirmations, updates, and other relevant information.
• The provider does not share personal data with third parties, unless necessary for the booking or required by law.
• Guests have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data.
• Data is stored only for booking purposes and legal archiving obligations.

9. Liability

• The provider is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure or changes by third-party providers.
• Guests must comply with house rules and staff instructions.
• The provider is not liable for personal items or injuries not directly caused by the provider.
• Guests may purchase additional insurance for personal belongings or activities (upon request).

10. Dispute Resolution

• Parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
• If unsuccessful, the laws of the Republic of Slovenia apply.
